1. Use of the Website
You may use this Website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data

3. Purchases, Seller of Record, and Taxes
Any software or digital products made available by South Loop Studios Limited are licensed, not sold, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Use of our software may also be subject to additional licence terms or an End User Licence Agreement (EULA). We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue software features at any time.
Who you buy from depends on your billing country:
- United Kingdom and European Union. Purchases with a billing country in the United Kingdom or a European Union member state are sold by South Loop Studios Limited as the seller of record. We issue your invoice and account for applicable UK or EU VAT. Eligible EU business customers who provide a valid VAT number at checkout are reverse-charged in accordance with EU VAT rules.
- All other countries. Purchases from all other countries are processed by our payment partner Stripe, with Stripe’s Onelink service acting as the merchant of record for the transaction. Your order appears as “Sold through Onelink” at checkout and on your receipt, and your card statement shows a LINK.COM reference. Stripe handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes, invoicing, and transaction-level support for these purchases.
In every case, your licence is granted by South Loop Studios Limited under the applicable EULA, regardless of the payment channel.
4. Orbit Software — Scope and Intended Use
Orbit is a professional software tool designed for playback, monitoring, visualisation, and quality control of immersive audio content, including ADM BWF files. Orbit:
- Does not author, mix, master, or certify content
- Does not modify original audio files unless explicitly stated
- Is intended to support evaluation and understanding, not replace professional production tools
All decisions made using Orbit remain the responsibility of the user.
5. Orbit Licence Grant
Subject to compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Orbit for personal or professional use. You must not:
- Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or distribute Orbit
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass licensing systems
- Use Orbit in a way that infringes intellectual property rights
Educational and volume licences are subject to additional eligibility requirements.
6. User Content and ADM Files
You retain ownership of any audio or content you load into Orbit. South Loop Studios Limited:
- Does not claim ownership of your content
- Does not access or store your files unless explicitly stated
- Processes files locally by default
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use all content loaded into the software.
7. No Affiliation with Dolby or Other Standards Bodies
Orbit is an independent product developed by South Loop Studios Limited.
- Orbit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Dolby Laboratories or Apple Inc.
- References to Dolby Atmos, Apple Spatial Audio, ADM, or other standards are for compatibility and descriptive purposes only
- Orbit Spatial is a registered trademark of South Loop Studios Limited
- Dolby, Dolby Atmos, and the double-D symbol are registered trademarks of Dolby Laboratories
- Apple Spatial Audio is a trademark of Apple Inc.
All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Monitoring Accuracy Disclaimer
Orbit provides virtual speaker layouts, binaural rendering, and spatial visualisation tools. However:
- Results may vary depending on hardware, headphones, room acoustics, and configuration
- No guarantee is made that monitoring through Orbit will translate identically across environments
- Orbit should be used as part of a broader professional workflow
9. Head Tracking and Sensor Features
Orbit may support head tracking or spatial features using supported hardware or camera-based systems.
- Feature availability depends on operating system and hardware
- Data is processed locally unless explicitly stated otherwise
- We do not collect biometric or motion data unless clearly disclosed
10. Offline Use and Licensing
Orbit may support offline use for limited periods depending on licence type.
- Periodic online licence validation may be required
- Failure to validate may result in restricted functionality
- Licensing mechanisms may change between versions
We reserve the right to update licensing systems to prevent misuse.
11. Updates and Feature Changes
